We’re going to do a really cool experiment at this Jam! We’ll be illustrating pages for one of Zander Cannon’s classes! More info here and here.

St. Paul Jam tonight

Tired of the holidays yet? The cold? The pressure to consume? Me too. Come join the St. Paul cell of the Cartoonist Conspiracy and Krampus this Thursday and blow off some steam! Just bring some drawing utensils, an idea for the jam, and although I already complained about pressuring consumption, please bring along a few bucks to get a tasty beverage — the baristas really do appreciate that.
The jam will start promptly at 6:30 and run until…whenever.
The meetings are open to anyone who wants to draw with us, and the results are posted here sooner rather than later.
To join us come to:
Cosmic’s Coffee Shoppe
189 Snelling Ave N.
St. Paul, MN 55104
(Northwest corner of Snelling and Selby)
More not than often we head on over to grab a brew at:
O’Gara’s Bar and Grill
164 Snelling Ave N
St. Paul, MN 55104
(Southeast corner of Snelling and Selby)
Any questions? Ideas for the jam? Don’t have a clue who or what Krampus is? Please discuss on our message board.
We hope to see you!

JAM TONIGHT IN MINNEAPOLIS (Thursday November 6th)… AND BRING YOUR 24 HOUR COMICS!
he Minneapolis Cartoonist Conspiracy meets at 6:30 until 10:00 the first Thursday of every month at Diamond’s Coffee Shoppe in Northeast.
Generally, we draw collaborative “jam” comics, socialize and drink caffeinated beverages. Afterwords, we often have uncaffeinated beverages somewhere else. Tonight we will also be collating 24 Hour comics from last month’s Minneapolis 24 Hour Comics event into a nice box set.
The meetings are open to anyone who wants to draw with us, and the results are posted here sooner or later (and sometimes even printed).
Diamond’s Coffee Shoppe
1618 Central Avenue Northeast
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Please spend some money at Diamond’s while you’re there, even if it is just a cuppa coffee… they are excellent hosts, and we wanna stay welcome there.
Big Time Attic hosts our monthly jam meetings at Diamond’s… they will be supplying us with a big old plate of pastries or something. Thanks fellas!
24 Hour Comic Day Plans
24 Hout Comic Day is almost here! I will be drawing with my fellow Conspirators at Book Arts in Minneapolis. Due to scheduling conflicts, I will not be able to participate for the full 24 hours, but that does NOT mean I won’t attempt to make a 24-page comic! That’s right, I may have to cut a few corners and use smaller pages, but I will attempt to complete a 24-page comic in 14 hours or less.
You can follow our progress at our official 24-hour comic website. I will also be chronicling my slow descent into madness on Twitter. Check it for hourly updates!
Last Week’s Jam
You can see a comic jam I participated in last week at the Cartoonist Conspiracy website. WARNING: Probably not suitable for viewing at work.
