I know what you mean. My yoga class was close to a busy avenue/highway. We could meditate, but it took getting used to the ambient noise so one could try to cancel it mentally. A massage place should really be isolated, maybe not as much as a place to meditate, but since the idea is to relax totally, the venue should have that in mind (acoustic tile and drapes maybe? — don’t want to have to use ear plugs).
Yeah, Vas, I really shouldn’t be complaining. I do feel good afterward. I kind of wanted to record my thoughts going through it, though.
Although venue is important, I don’t know how possible it is to get a quiet place in the Twin Cities. There are places, but I’m guessing there would be higher real estate proces involved, which could hurt business.
Poor thing.
