Misogynistic Undertones

Misogynistic Undertones

Oh, Li’l Buddha, is there no end to your psychological analysis?

I’m having some last minute reservations about posting this comic, but I’m going to post it anyway. I think if you make comics (or do anything creative) long enough your inner demons are going to show, so I might as well get them out of the way.

  1. Lupi says:

Exactly WHAT entails hardship–being a grownup or women? HMMMM? :p

  2. Ryan Dow says:

I was thinking being a grownup, but relations can be pretty hard too.

  3. I guess it’s been awhile since I’ve been single, so I can’t really relate to this comic at this point in my life. However, if it is a serious relationship that you are afraid of, maybe you should have some not-so-serious relationships to prepare you…

  4. Ryan Dow says:

I’m sure I’ll have some downright ridiculous relationships down the road. For now, I just realized that I screwed up the coloring on one of L’il Buddha’s legs. I’ll need to fix that later.

  5. Jon Sloan says:

Best to confront them and be able to move on, that way those nagging demons won’t be hanging over your head so much and demand more paper time.

  6. Oh yeah, look at that. Panel five. I wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t pointed it out.

  7. Ryan Dow says:

Okay, I thought I had it fixed yesterday. Looks like it should be fixed today. Weird how something like that can slip by.

  8. danno says:

    OH SURE!

The old “move the topic to the drawings so as to get off the fact I’m a horrible mysogynist” routine.

    Well played, Dow.
