I hear there’s some kind of sports event going on today. Hopefully your favorite team wins.
Making Comics
Transcript
So I started making comics of my own.
Which led to participation in comic jams…
And submitting comics for local anthologies.
Now I have more ideas and projects than I can keep up with.
I’m often a tired, disjointed mess.
But I’ve never felt more alive!

I think you’ve hit upon some pretty universal sentiment here, and its passage from your brain to the world was artfully executed. Basically I’m complimenting your mind’s birth canal.
Wow! I got referenced in one of your comics! Awesome! I am really digging this story thus far Ryan!
To Ignatio – Hey thanks! (Must resist joke about how the idea was C-sectioned from my mind)
To Dan – Glad you’re enjoying the story. Unfortunately, this is where the “making comics” tangent ends for now. I’m going on a different tangent for next week.
Impressive! You’ve hit on something all of us feel as far as our collective passion for sequential art goes! Yes, we work until the wee hours, exhaust ourselves, but when we look at the pages we have labored over, we smile and say “Damn! It was worth it!”
Ryan:
HELL YAY!
I’m right there with you!
Oh…and thats like the best drawing of me EVER!
To John – That’s just what I was going for.
To Danno – Actually I based it on a drawing you did of yourself for Brontosaurus Menz. That’s probably why its so good.
Then thanks for the best swipe of me ever!
No problem!
A sporting event? What? It was “paint the living room Sunday” here.
Yeah, it was something to do with football. And commercials.
So were the other two Conspirators in your panel besides Danno and Dan O.?
The one on the left is supposed to be Lupi (but it doesn’t really look like her). The one on the right is Kiske. Sorry I didn’t work you in, man. Maybe next time.
That’s how I felt when I started fanfiction =D (My talent isn’t in drawing, but writing… slightly lazy because comics have to be a combination of both art and writing… )
Wonderful comic!
