In case you’re wondering, David DeAngelo is the creator of a franchise of eBooks and CD’s called Double You Dating. As you might have guessed, I was once insecure enough to buy some of his stuff. I can’t really comment on whether his advice really works or because it really clashed with how I wanted to live my life. It is interesting to read as a storyteller, as it offers some counter intuitive ideas on how people are attracted to one another.
By the way, the thing that was missing was comics. More on that in Sunday’s comic.

HA!
“CRACKED”!
…and “TOP TEN”!
Its like reliving Saturday all over again!
And I completely agree they are almost impossible to evangelize.
People are either going to give them a chance or not, and even if they do the chance they’ll make it a life-long obsession seems dim.
Thats fine.
I don’t need anyone bilking taxpayers to build a Comics-Reading stadium. I like my couch just fine…..though I could use the millions of dollars, now that I think about it…
Comics! Yeah!
WATCHMEN may as well be THE WATCHTOWER if you are a non-believer. Even AFTER the film comes out.
Hey everybody!
Sorry for responding so late, but this week’s really been kicking me in the butt.
Danno – When people ask me why I like comics, I feel like saying, “Well… look at ‘em!” But I don’t.
David – Yeah! Comics!
McCarthy – If only people would slip copies of Watchman under my apartment door. (By the way, I would love to see a Watchtower comic. I’ve always loved their cheery post-rapture illustrations).
Looks a lot like the way I was hooked on comics, first the Sunday Funnies, then Cracked/Mad magazines, then DC/Marvel, then discovering alternative comics.
It’s good to hear that I’m not the only one.
haha — I love that last line, “comics don’t need a reason to be awesome!” Awesome.
That’s a pretty sweet avatar you’ve got there. Are you dressed up as the Goon?
