I don’t know why, but I have been on fire when it comes to making comics this week. It would be nice if I could be this productive all the time, but I think eventually my health would give out. Most of the pages above are finished pages for Kid Science!, a story I am making for Super Fantastica Comix!
Now I think it’s time to catch up on my sleep.

How fast did you know out those 6 pages? The last panel looks pretty funny. Stay healthy, but keep up the productive pace!
WOW! This looks awesome!
I have trouble pacing myself during those bursts, and end up having a few sluggish days for penance.
per your Twitter post, where you know me as scartoonist / LilNyet.com
The work looks good, though. I’m glad you’re on a roll.
Javier, I’ve penciled and inked those pages over a four day period (Sunday to Wednesday). Not a Hurculean effort, but its more than I usually get done in that time. The last panel changed a lot from what I had originally intended. About halfway through penciling I realized I would need to do a skeleton effect (although it almost looks like he’s disintegrating her.
Thanks Dan!
I have trouble pacing myself too, Bengo. Thankfully I’ll be taking a break from cartooning tonight to go to a Cartoonist Conspiracy Jam session to do some more… cartooning. Sigh.
As a fan of the POWER RANGERS, I am pleased by the character design for KID SCIENCE.
Go go Kid Science!
I hope when this comes out you’ll make t-shirts (or at least iron-ons) of that
science vial (vile? the thing scientists put chemicals and whatnot in) logo.
It’s an Erlenmeyer flask.
Thank you!
You should start one of those “Ask Dr. McCarthy” blogs.
….
and yes by saying “one of those” I mean there are already several
blogs where people posing as you(pretending they are also a doctor) answer questions.
