Guest Comic by David Steinlicht

Guest Comic by David Steinlicht

In my defense, I was trying to be “Minnesota Nice” (“Oh, you don’t have to trouble yourself there, dontcha know?”), but it must not have come across that way.

David Steinlicht specializes in observational comics with a distinctive visual style.  He makes a weekly comic for the Pioneer Press called Corner Comic.  You can also check out more of his comics at http://www.allsmall.net/.

He really doesn’t get the attention he deserves.  By that I mean he deserves more attention, not less.

  1. Ryan,

You are a good sport to publish this comic. Of course, this didn’t actually happen in exactly this way. The comic was just inspired by a little bit of a real-life conversation. Real life is funny, but not quite funny enough.

    Thanks for the nice words.

    –David

  2. Ryan Dow says:

Hey, as someone who regularly mangles true life conversations in an attempt to make a better story, who am I to judge?

  3. That’s a pretty neat strip David.
    Ryan, you are a jerk. : )

  4. Ryan Dow says:

    I am a jerk. : )

  5. I did already read this… my mind is deteriorating.

I never realized that Ryan looks just like David, only with different glasses, more hair, and no spot color on his shirt.
