Epilogue - pt 5 (The End)

Epilogue – pt 5 (The End)

So that’s the end of “Weekends With Carl”.  Of course, its not the end of our protagonist’s story.  Soon he will learn what he wants out of life and how to make friends on his own terms.  But that’s a story for another time.

I will be posting another comic next  Sunday, and then I’ll be taking a week off from making comics to work on collecting “Weekends With Carl” into a book.   I wish I could specify a release date, but I really don’t know how long it will take to get a proof made (and make corrections).  Hopefully I’ll have something ready by January or February of next year.

I would also like to send thanks to all the loyal readers and commenters on this website.  You guys have been great!

  1. It has been a great ride! I remember a year ago when you started this story, you couldn’t imagine doing more than a page a week, and now, you’ve completed your first graphic novel. It’s a great acheivement and you should take some pride in that.

    Congrats Ryan!

Nice way to wrap it up! Hope the process putting the book together goes smoothly for you. Have a good week!

  3. McCarthy says:

I’m looking forward to the sequel, “Weekends at Carl’s Jr.”

  4. Jon Sloan says:

I thought it would be: “Weekends With Carl II: Electric Boogaloo”.

    CONGRATS RYAN!

  6. Ryan Dow says:

Thanks for the comments and kudos, everyone! As far as sequel titles go, I’m partial to Carl Goes West.

  7. Ignacio Nova says:

This was one hell of a story, folks. I was satiated on all the levels I hope a story will satiate me on. And I’ve come to find out that the sentiment on this page is the truth, and it’s not bad. This page, and this story, and your comic are where it’s at.

  8. B says:

    Tremendous.

  9. Francis says:

I’m quite glad I only started reading this now. I would’ve hated to have to wait X amount of time for the next strip in the comic. Amazing story Ryan :)

  10. Ryan Dow says:

    Glad you enjoyed it!
