I like the timing on the character development. You’ve been subtle and coy about Ryan’s character all along, and this is just the right moment for him to really put his foot down.
I have to say, I do like what Carl says at the end, as if he’s doing all this to make sure Ryan isn’t such a pushover. That being said, you really gotta find it annoying when people will play games like that without just saying what they mean.
