I would like to say this is flattering, but it’s actually kind of creepy. I guess you could call it homophobia, but I really think its the kind of dread anyone (man or woman) gets when they get unwelcome attention from a guy.

First, I really like the way you handled the flashback panel. Second, when I was in high school I had a couple of instances where I was hit on by guys. Not appealing, to say the least, since I am straight. I partially agree with you when you say that “its the kind of dread anyone (man or woman) gets when they get unwelcome attention from a guy. I think it would be a nice addendum to state that I dread any woman that gives me unwelcome attention as well.
I’ve been pretty lucky in that I haven’t really gotten any unwelcome attention from women. In my experience, women either leave me be or are so cryptic I’m not sure if they’re hitting on me or not. My guess is probably not. So ladies, thanks for not be needy and leaving me alone!
What I meant to say is that I usually thought that not getting attention from girls was a bad thing, but I’ve learned to appreciate it. It’s nice not to have that kind of pressure.
I agree with both of you, getting unwelcomed attention is very uncomfortable from either gender. I don’t think it has much to do with homophobia, just the signals that are percieved, as well as what our personal boundaries are.
