And then the good guy says, "No, if I do that, I'm no better than you." And then the good guy throws away his gun (or whatever) in a nearby dumpster and turns his back. Then the bad guy pulls out a knife (or small firearm) from his sock, lunges at the good guy screaming, and then the good guy steps out of the way and the bad guy goes flying passed him and over the edge of a cliff and plunges to his death?! I've been pretty lucky in life, really. Sure, I'm not a millionaire, but I could be doing a lot worse than I am now, both financially and psychologically. It’s hard for me to complain on that front. As much as retribution would be sweet, we have to bow to the unbalanced order of things.....idiots are successful, hard-working people continue to be crapped on, people with mega-amounts of success have absolutely no idea how to handle it, etc. Unfortunately, that’s the best thing we can do in situations such as this.
