  1. This guy doesn’t seem to very honest with you, huh? And this is all based on a true story? No embelishments?

  2. Ryan Dow says:

I haven’t consciously embellished anything. If anything, I’ve left a lot of details out, mainly to streamline the story. For example, I took my shirt off to put the other shirt on. And it took place in a large room that Carl was renting out from a friend. I’m sure that if “Carl” happened to stumble on this comic (and I sincerely hope he doesn’t), he would say that I’ve twisted everything, that things were nothing like this. But that’s the magic of point-of-view.

As for being honest, I don’t want to spoil things, but he may have changed plans at the last minute.

  3. Wow, I mispelled “embellishments.” Oh hi there, I was just reading my previous comment and your response to it when I notice my spelling error.

I am looking forward to the next page! Are you thinking about printing this when you are finished? I am going to begin working on a graphic novel soon too. It won’t be like anything I currently do. I have some stories in my brain that are just waiting to get out.

  4. Ryan Dow says:

I probably will print the entire thing with Lulu or KaBlam when its finished, but it won’t be finished for a while. Hopefully once I’m done with some side projects I can kick production up to two pages a week.

My plan right now is to print the first “chapter” in a 8.5 x 5.5 black and white mini (with a full color cover) to sell at MicroCon (mainly for people who don’t have Internet access or don’t know they can read it online for free, and possibly for Lutefisk Sushi and press purposes).

Good luck on the graphic novel!
