All right, I’m copping out this weekend. I’ve been too busy working on my Muscles and Fights project this weekend to finish an Introspective Comic. So instead I’ll post a comic I did for the Eric Lappegard Alley Cat anthology. Eric was a prominent vegan, so I decided to do a short comic about a vegan cat. I’m not a vegan myself, but I am a vegetarian and this comic is based on my own experiences with being meat-free.
Do you like this comic? You can buy the original! There will be a slient auction on September 8th selling the original artwork from the Alley Cat anthology. There will also be a bike race, a dance, and a vegan bake sale (I am totally making vegan lemon cupcakes for this)! Proceeds from these events will go to towards the medical expenses of Eric Lappegard, who recently died after suffering serious spinal injuries from a car accident. That’s awesome! I can’t wait for the benefit. You heard about the music venue backing out, right? Really crappy situation. However, September 8th is going to be a good day of remberance for a special individual. I just re-read his contribution to Muscles and Fights 1 and damn near pissed myself.
He will be missed.
