Before I settled on making my own webcomic, I had considered publishing my own minicomic. One of my ideas was to make a sixteen page comic on my newfound love of cooking. I liked the idea but struggled with stretching it to sixteen pages, so I condensed it into this 9-panel comic.

At some point in my life…
I grew tired of living off of canned chili and toaster pastries.
So I bought some cookbooks.
Picked up some food…
And taught myself to cook.
I still follow the recipes pretty closely.
I haven’t gained the confidence or experience…
To mix things things up,
To make my own recipes.
Not yet.
